The Pull
My body stopped moving and quickly got cold
I made my escape through exhaling lungs
And watched my body rot away
Nobody noticed my misty escape
And I ended up floating like water in the air,
To the blowy ocean side above the pounding of waves
That's where you showed up on the foggiest day
From high above you,
I saw your Earthling body wrapped in wool
The glow surrounds you,
And when you breathed in I felt the pull
Ice
The heat came down and breathing got clear
(There was water in your hair)
The fog burned off and finally I felt near!
(The sun came out, we had to get back in)
To the place I’d like to stay
(Sunlight made reflections on your skin)
But the year went on and it got too cold to swim
So I stayed beneath as the water above me froze
From under the ice I saw you in warm clothes
Now I'm thawing out, while the fire you made grows
Sand (by Eric's Trip)
I'd like to believe in one thing that you say to me
Would you like to leave?
When I try to talk it all just turns out to be
Turn on the stove
In the little tiny rooms that our friend calls a home
My head fills with heat from the knife in your hand to mine
I'd like to understand what you think about,
Why it seems so bad
It's only escape from everything
I know I'm weak, I know that I'm sad
Turn on the stove,
In the little tiny rooms that our friend calls a home
My head fills with heat from the knife in your hand to mine

The Glow
The blow came down from the hills ,followed by snow
Oh, the snowy blows
I could feel far off, the glow
And I made my way through September
In the next month towards the glow
I moved slow, down from the hills,
I'm getting cold, buried in snow
"Hey wake up it's me, that glow
Wake up and listen close
Warm up and come down through the hills,
Toward the warm red lamp window"
I started to glow
Oh, and it felt just like being pulled out by the tide
I held onto your side
We swam 'til it got light,
'Cause the blue was deep and wide
In sunlight our bodies glide,
There was water in my eyes
We sank and we arrived
We found ourselves inside the light
The light, the glow
On the cool, dark ocean floor,
I felt warmth from behind the door
I asked to come inside and the glow replied

Blue Moon
Waded out past the wave-swells,
Where we all floated hopeless
Then he told us to stop treading water
He sang about the sand
Where we could all touch our feet down
He held out his hand with his head tipped back, he sang aloud
But we didn't listen, he swam off alone
Long live his words, all caught up on his own
He said:
"Someday the moon will reach out to the sun
But for now it must drift alone"
But for now he drifts alone

The Gleam
Quiet beach
We’re soaked through and through
I feel on my waist, your wet hand
Surprised we both survived
Later, our burning bodies made a glow
We rose as smoke and then as a puff of ash
We drifted out over the sea where it hurts too much to look
It hurts to try and see
At that point we could just step into the gleam
The Breeze
(Instrumental)
(Something)
The foggy air around us was blinding,
The foggy sea was loud behind it
It's foggy breath breathed it's water into our lungs,
And we curled up around it
And we were deafened by the sound
Of foggy waves crash,
It's still ringing in my ears
But my ears and lungs are nothing
Compared to my eyes, I saw something in the sand
That swept me off my feet
Oh, the blow!
Oh, it's pulling out in tide tows
And rising back in misty wave throws,
Forever churning up its boiling strength
And with the faster that the car flies,
Stick your head out of the window
Find it beating hard and sweet into my face
And in a moment when the time slows,
The air gets so wide and thick and fuels a force
That blows a hole right through the chest
Oh! The Blow!
Between Your Ear and the Other Ear
Pulling a string in tin-can telephones
Through what does it run?
And who is hearing?
Do you keep holding on?
The can up against your ear
Imagine all the terrain
Between your ear and the other ear!
